Lay the track around the garden

Based in Bracknell, Berkshire, Tristonia Games is an independent game studio owned by TRISTONIA LTD. We design relaxing railway puzzles for Android set in a model railway that winds around an English back garden.

Each level is a patch of lawn, a flower bed or a pond. Players lay pieces of track so that a little steam engine can visit every station and return to the shed.

Track pieces bend, cross and branch, and some levels add bridges over the pond or tunnels under the rockery. A train that reaches a dead end simply reverses, so experimenting is always safe and quick.

The garden changes with the seasons, from spring daffodils to autumn leaves on the line. Small details, such as a cat asleep on a sunny platform or a robin on the signal post, reward players who look closely.

Nothing is timed and the game contains no purchases. Every layout can be saved, and the shed fills with new engines and carriages as more of the garden is connected. A gentle tutorial introduces each new piece of track, and players can switch to a night view where the station lamps glow along the line.

How the railway fits together
StationsEvery station on the board needs a visit.
TrackCurves, points and crossings join them up.
ShedThe engine must finish where it started.

Letters to Tristonia Games are always read, whether they propose a new stretch of line, point out a mistake here or ask what we hold about you. Send a track idea.
